J: I just saw this recipe too and was wondering cuz mom loves broc-cheese soups. Is it yummy? Ask Da Wendall if I really NEED the pale ale since we don't have any nor do we drink. Does it add an alcohol flavor? Mahalo -N
N, Wendell said he used Heineken Light, but maybe no need. It was good, but to be honest, I'm more into brothy soups than creamy ones.
hmmmm cheddar cheese...I seem to remember someone running off after work to buy some shredded cheddar cheese, not the block kind :)
