J: I just saw this recipe too and was wondering cuz mom loves broc-cheese soups. Is it yummy? Ask Da Wendall if I really NEED the pale ale since we don't have any nor do we drink. Does it add an alcohol flavor? Mahalo -N
N, Wendell said he used Heineken Light, but maybe no need. It was good, but to be honest, I'm more into brothy soups than creamy ones.
