Yosh gave me 4 bags of Meyer lemons and one bag of Hawaiian lemons!! I squeezed about 1 1/2 bags so far and got about 2 1/2 quarts of juice. I think that means that I'm gonna get over a gallon of juice. Is that right? Seems like a whole lot of juice, yah?
I got the 2 quarts in the freezer . . . one is for CQ. So does anybody want the other one? You can make The Best Ever Lemonade or the even better Lemonade Iced Tea. I'll give it to the first person who answers. Only thing is you gotta pick it up. If there're more of you who want I'll put you on a list (in order of response) and I'll contact you if and when I have more juice to spare. Yosh said that he'll probably have more lemons in a week or so. If you're a stranger, I'll meet you in front of Keeaumoku Walmart and I'm gonna call Erick to be my bodyguard.
thanks for today

Hoo hoo Celia. You won. I'll e-mail you. Funny, you're the one who gave me the lemon and the cake mix left in your break room awhile back.

Meyer Lemon frozen lemonade recipe
Zip up some ice, sugar and meyer lemon juice in a blender and you got yourself a wonderful frozen lemonade. I have tons of meyers lemons and this is a great recipe to try.
The secret is a good quality blender with an ice function.
Shoots shoot shoots....I wished I knew before hand...I would have loved the rind.....I make homemande limoncello...I got choke lemon juice in my freezer, coz for one batch I nned the rind from 12-15 lemons !!
Ooooh thanks Anon. That sounds wonderful!
Oh Gawwwd Didi, I just dumped two bags of rinds . . . but . . . I still got two bags more of lemons to squeeze. How to I keep them for you? Fridge? Freeze?
Can Dd share her recipe for limoncello please ?
Meyer lemon juice makes a delicious lemon curd. Great for scones and everything else .

Hey Anon, I'll ask Didi. Lemon curd? What's that?
Lemon Curd :)
3/4 cup fresh lemon juice 1 tablespoon grated lemon zest 3/4 cup sugar 3 eggs 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cubed
Directions
In a 2 quart saucepan, combine lemon juice, lemon zest, sugar, eggs, and butter. Cook over medium-low heat until thick enough to hold marks from whisk, and first bubble appears on surface, about 6 minutes.
Thanks Jalna for all the lemon juice - that is a lot of squeezing. Thanks also to Yosh for giving you choke lemons.
Thanks for the Lemon Curd recipe, Anon. I'll be posting Didi's Limoncello recipe later tonight.
You're so welcome, Celia!
I hope you try and make some lemon curd with these lemons. It basically a lemon flavored custard.
It will knock your socks off its so tasty, try it on cheesecake.
Should it curdle simply strain it.
Also make sure to make juice with the rest of your lemons soon , they get soft rather quickly , unlike limes which seem to hold up better.
Looking forward to the lemoncello recipe
mahalo
I love the recipe Anon, for its simplicity . . . you know me. I hope I get to try it out soon. And I WILL be squeezing more lemons tonight. Thanks again!
If there are more lemon juice I don't mind having some! Please keep me on the wait list.
Okay, Renee. I don't think I have your contact info. Can you e-mail me at JalnaA@aol.com? I'll e-mail you if I have extra.
Oh man. You're gonna get WAY more lemonade than that. You need to make some pies, sorbet, bars...
I'm way down on the list, but if it comes to me I'll take some off your hands. Someone's gotta do it.
Lemons are all gone Mariko. I'll let you know if I get a second batch.
