Wendell made these using a recipe from the Natasha's Kitchen site. I liked it a lot.
Ingredients
- 1 lb chicken wings, split into flats and drummettes
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- 2 tsp garlic salt
- 1 tsp lemon pepper
Instructions
- Thoroughly pat dry chicken wings with paper towels and place in a mixing bowl.
- Coat in 1 Tbsp oil then sprinkle on 2 tsp garlic salt and 1 tsp lemon pepper. Toss to evenly coat with seasoning.
- Place on air frying basket, spacing evenly and air fry at 400˚F for 8 minutes per side, or a total of 16 minutes, or until chicken wings are crisp and golden brown on the outside.

I'm kind of regretting that I didn't buy the basket type air fryer. I thought the oven type would be more useful but seems like cleaning and doing small batches works better with the basket type. Looks so ono!

I think my new stove (that took 11 months to get to me) has an air fryer function. This one looks like a winnah chicken dinnah to me!

We just got an air fryer for Christmas but haven't learned to use it a lot yet.
Izsmom, it really was!
V, we don't use the fryer a lot, but Wendell did bust it out to do the chicken and that little anchovy tazukuri thing.
Aunty, how cool to have an air fryer in your stove!
Kat, it was nice and crispy.
Kay, I should try using it more myself.
I need to remember this recipe especially for the salt, lemon pepper measurements. I usually just salt the chicken and hope it has enough flavoring. Most of the time it needs more salt.
