We have a couple of cans of condensed milk that expired at the end of last month so I hunted around for recipes where I could use some of it. I found this recipe on the Martha Stewart web site. Wendell said that it was really good.
I like this shot 'cause you can see Wendell buttering up his piece.
My cake was done in 55 minutes. I didn't add the glaze.

Oh Yum! I love pound cake and this one sounds extra rich so double Yum!
This reminds me of my friend's scone recipe. It was using Bisquick and instead of regular milk, you put in a richer milk like half and half or whipping cream. I better check the cans in my pantry. Probably everything is expired but then I still use 'em, lol.
Sorry I just like laugh...cause I see two sticks of butter in the cake and then Wendell slathering on more butter. This recipe sounds absolutely delicious...condensed milk, no can go wrong!!

I'm so glad you posted this! I just watched her make it on her youtube channel the other day and had it in the back of my mind as something to make for the holidays. I'm totally sold by your picture alone. Looks soooo good!
