Overnight Oats

Have you ever heard of overnight oats?  I only recently discovered it.  You can find a lot of fancy recipes online, but I've been making a very simple version.

I mix together 3/4 cup of oats with 3/4 cup of milk, 1 tsp. chia seeds and 1 tsp. honey.  I leave it in the fridge overnight.

The following day I'll add fruits, trail mix and sprinkle with cinnamon and eat it for lunch.  I never cared for oatmeal before, but I like this version.

I just tried. I didn't have enough milk so came out pretty thick but I liked it anyway.
Biggest con for me was all these kernels of oats stuck in my teeth LOL (used that Coaches oatmeal from Costco)
Oh, and got chia from Safeway for $10.99/lb. Then went to Costco and saw 2lbs for $7.99 or something like that grrr

Chet, I put so much fruits it's probably not low cal, but feels healthy. LOL.

Susan, yes.

V, LOL. I got my chia from Ross. Had so many brands to pick from I just chose the one with the longest expiration date.
