Wow, never thought of weighing stuff like that, that’s a good idea for Japan trips!
HOLY MOLY!! I think you got me beat on the shopping for omiyage stuffs....
So funny, you mark the weight of your shopping bags.
Have to admit, the rooms are small. But, it clean and I love the toilet, that warms up when you sit on it. I travelled Europe, I SO over it. Asian countries are so dynamic, the food so good.
Did you go with Kobayashi or Tohoku? That is definitely a fancy bathroom! Poor Landon...
j: wow very nice room and love the bathroom too. Even if you don't stay in it much, it's good to come back to something pretty. Did you bring a box back too? I LOL'd at your comment about not seeing Mt.Fuji...I think it's more appreciated at a distance...like all our mountains. I got to Haleakala and was like 'ok now what' since it was all socked in w/ clouds. Kinda overrated. I feel the same way about Japan - that's my birthplace, I'll always be connected it somehow even though it's so foreign to me. Furusato truly. Love your art work too. -N
huge room!
LOL, Mich . . . since all four pieces of luggage was gonna end up at the same place, knowing the weights helped with packing.
Les, that's why I wear old throwaway clothes . . . so there's more room in the suitcase going home!!
Aunty, it was Landon's idea.
Chet, I never been to Europe, but my brother and his family just went and shared some nice photos. Maybe that's good enough for me.
Kay, we went with Panda Travel.
LOL N . . . "now what". I know what you mean. I did bring back a box too. I just love the word "furusato".
Nice yah, Kat!
Really nice hotel! Haha, love the weighed bags of omiyage. Helps to know if you can buy more! My brother lives very close to that area.
Lucky brother, Susan!
Hey Janna, don't want to give the wrong impression. Actually,if you haven't been to Europe, great experience. Just for me now, you beat the value of Asia. In Japan, the people are nice and customer service oriented. I have Portugal on my bucket list, heard good things.
Awww, thanks for clarifying, Chet. But Europe was never on my bucket list anyway. Just the thought of being on a plane for the length of time it takes to get there is discouraging enough for me.
We just signed up for a Tohoku since everybody talks about it.
Ooooh exciting, Kay!!
