We're making good use of the electric skillet that I bought! We had this shabu shabu the other night.
Landon first made a dashi-type broth with a little bit of spiciness to it. He added the vegetables in first.
And then the meat. I got these at Marukai.
I busted out all the different sauces that we had in stock to use as dipping sauces along with a couple concoctions that Landon created.
I used about four different ones myself. No egg this time.

Looks SO ono! And the sauces!!!! I like come over to eat! btw, the eggs you shared from Waimanalo was good!! I fried 'em instead of eating raw. Maybe I have to cook shabu shabu too and try it as a dip.

I love your Japanese dipping bowls. I tried to get my brother to buy me some nice ones in Japan but he got me this slate looking manly kind. Forget it, I'll just have to get them myself. At first look I thought you were eating at a restaurant. Looks so oishii!
