Thanks to Geri and Sweetie, I have a caterpillar! Right now, all it does is eat and eat and eat. I hope it gets to reach butterflyhood. Cross your fingers.

Jalna: What you'll find with those caterpillars is, not only do they eat a gazillion x their body weight in crownflower leaves, they'll also poop out a gazillion little pooples! Incredible little critters.
J: you are so becoming Nat'l Geographic. Wow, this is an awesome vid, amazing that cat will become a beautiful winged creature from all that eating. Too bad that can't happen after a buffet, huh. Great job! -N
J - I'd like to see there poops too. Today I drove by a crown flower bush and I noticed that the top most areas and one side was barren, just like you said, brown sticks. The rest of the bush had leaves so I figured they must be the parts where the eggs were laid and the cats ate thru all those leaves -N
N, I got some pictures of the poop this morning, but they're kinda hard to see. I gotta go work right now (hurry hurry hurry) so no more time look at the pictures . . . hopefully tonight.
