Do you see the cars exiting? It always amazes us that even though we usually arrive at around 7 am or earlier, there are always people who are already leaving.
As soon as we got there I bought this ottoman thing. It was only $2. I thought it would be great to use as a prop on a photo shoot. Plus I figured I could also store things in it. Good idea yeah? Only thing . . . it was a major pain in the butt lugging it around with me. And guess what kept happening? Every time I put it down so that I could check out something, somebody would start inspecting it. Instead of saying, "Sorry, that's mine.", I shoulda said, "You can have it for $5."
Didi spent quite a bit of time inspecting this cute bumble bee outfit. She never bought it even though the seller brought the price down from $5 to $4.
I can't remember if Sweetie ended up buying this or not. It was $2.
Me, Sweetie and Didi chipped in $5 each to buy this Baby Einstein DVD set. We gave it to Geri for her first grandchild, a girl due in September. A girl!! Me and my siblings only got boys. She already has a name . . . it's Harlow! A girl!!

I loooooooove this vase. It looks a bit fragile, but it has a nice weight to it. I bought it for Sweetie. It says $4, but the seller said I could have it for $1.

Sea-Based X-Band Radar (SBX) is a floating, self-propelled, mobile radar station designed to operate in high winds and heavy seas. It is part of the U.S. Defense Department Ballistic Missile Defense System.
The Sea-Based X-Band Radar is mounted on a fifth generation Norwegian-designed, Russian-built CS-50 twin-hulled semi-submersible drilling rig. The hull was originally built at Vyborg Shipyard, hull number 101. Conversion of the vessel was carried out at the AmFELS yard in Brownsville, Texas; the radar mount was built and mounted on the vessel at the Kiewit yard in Ingleside, Texas, near Corpus Christi. It is nominally based at Adak Island in Alaska (though, as of April, 2012 has never put into port at Adak) but can roam over the Pacific Ocean to detect incoming ballistic missiles. The vessel is classed by ABS and has the IMO number of 8765412.

Haha...my dad was telling me about the "golf ball" a couple weeks ago. He said that it is a super radar that is probably here in Hawaii due to the increased nuclear activity in N. Korea. Supposedly this radar can detect almost immediately when a missile is launched. I'm not sure if the smaller "golf balls" around it are the other part...but something like there are these guns that can fire of an INSANE amount of bullets in the direction of the missile to blow it up. Neat...but is it all true? Dunno...my dad likes to talk. hahah!
