I never heard of Kilani Bakery in Wahiawa before until coworker Cathy shared some brownies with us the other day. Some ono! It seems they also make good chantilly cakes, lemon meringue pies, eclairs and stick doughnuts too. I guess I'm gonna have to check them out one of these days.

Love brownies! These look yum!
My favorite pie in the whole world...well, besides apple...is custard. I think the only place it is made is Hawaii. I don't find custard pie here in California. Its mentioned all the time on Liliha Bakery's FB page and my mouth waters.
Ohhh poor thing no more custard pie. I think Wendell actually baked one once and it was not bad.
you have to try the brownies and "puffies" at Paalaa Kai Bakery now! In Waialua, so if you are headed north, try it! yum!

Thanks Jos, two bakeries I need to try now!
If you go to Kilani Bakery, try their Chocolate Eclair's. It's soo good! Lot's of filling, but it's smaller in size compared to other places. Their Orange Chiffon cake is pretty good.
mmiissee, now I REALLY want to go try them out.
If you like Laulau, stop by at
Da Pokeman Fish Market. I personally, think they make really good laulau. It's sort of small though compared to other places. The cost is $2.95 for a laulau alone. I've been going there a lot just to buy laulau and chili pepper water.
Okay, Da Pokeman Fish Market . . . sounds good. I better write this down.
