Tag the World - The Food

It was my first time at an event such as this. Everything was first class . . .
including the food. This is just a sampling of what was served. I did actually take the time to jot down the names of the items, but I so cannot even read my own writing right now. This is what I can decipher:

Beef Tataki on Eggplant
Something Seafood Something with Crab Something
Guy doing the shaka who thought he was gonna be in some publication 'cause I was wearing a "PRESS" tag (I loved it).
Crab and Avocado Something with Micro Greens
East Indian Butter Chicken (butter chicken?? that's what I wrote)
Tahitian Vanilla Panna Cotta with Exotic Fruits
Wailea Chocolate Savarin with Island Fruits and Kona Coffee Vanilla Sauce (good thing I got the sign . . . next time I should do that for all the food).
Chocolate Cheesecake Lollipops
Flourless Chocolate Cake with Kula Strawberries
As night descended I got to check out the light-gathering capabilities of my new 85mm f1.2 lens . . . hooo hoooo!!

WOWWWWW!! I Love your food shots. My favorite is the candle on table runner..it looks so elegant and the lighting is perfect! Cool effect w/ the fire performer too!

Thanks Shun Wah and Kat!! I hardly ate anything though it seems we were allowed. Les forced me to eat a McDonald's cheeseburger and fries before we got there so I was too full. Erick kept saying that the mahi was soooo good. I swear he ate about five platefuls.

Great shots, especially the night shots. All that food, its almost intimidating to even want to eat. The one that said something with "exotic fruit" kinda made me chuckle - a strawberry and slice of kiwi. You're right, the guy doing the shaka was making sure he was giving you his best smile. :))

Ron, it was great. The people just walked around and grabbed whatever appealed to them and could easily just go back for more.

Thanks Erick, waiting to see your photos.

I know Betty, the presentation of the food was just so awesome.
