Me, Leslie and Erick volunteered to shoot at the Tag the World Charity Triathlon event. I couldn't make it to the race itself, but I did make it to the red-carpet luau at the Royal Hawaiian Hotel. The highlight of the evening for me was watching Makana perform. He was awesome. More later.
We heard him in a concert he did with Na Leo in Walnut Creek (the East Bay Area) a few years ago. It was a Christmas concert. He was awesome!! Loved his music. You got some awesome pictures!

So glad Makana is doing so well! Did you know he used to live right next door to me when he was growing up??
Wow Kat, really small world yeah!
HURRY UP! I wanna see more! These are awesome! Especially since you got that darn microphone stand out of the way!
Thanks Les. It took some contorting, sliding around on the floor until I caught cramp in my leg to get the mike out of the way.
