last christmas, we got aja a wacom draw pad. it was less than $80 at the time which i thought was not too bad considering what it can do. it has a cordless pen so you don't have to use the mouse. for an extra $30 or so you can get a wirless kit! i thought it was pretty cool and perfect for your work ;D
