I recently wrote about 7 Eleven's saimin that I really liked. I was intrigued because the instructions say not to add water. I bought it again the other day and took a look under the noodles. The broth is gel-like before heating. Aha!
Went swap meet today. Me and my sistahs all kinda looked like this. Geri bought the cute masks for us. Someone at her church made them.
This is the area where usually got my favorite kind of sellers . . . the kind that cleaned out the house and just want to make a few extra bucks. Nada.
One of my sisters received unfavorable responses today when she hugged two different people. I've been refraining from hugging lately because of my cold and not because of you-know-what. I'm wondering now. How do you feel? It's totally understandable, yah. I don't mind being hugged, but I wouldn't want to hug somebody who doesn't want to be hugged. But then, what do you do to not be offensive? Maybe I'll just keep saying I have a cold even when I'm pau being sick.
I hobbled down to Palama Market today with my still-sore back just to get out of the house for a little bit. While I was there looking at this sale sign and wondering if the mandoo was good a local Korean lady came by and quickly put 4 bags into her wagon.
So I got me one too. I haven't tried it yet, but I'm thinking must be good, yah.
I actually forgot that I had these in the freezer. I bought them from Palama Market awhile back. I think they were around $10 for a 2-pack.
They're small . . . about the size of a silver dollar and more patty than "ball". I fried them up with some perilla oil that my sister Geri shared. I think she also got it at Palama Market. It's kinda like sesame oil but different. It's very fragrant. I like it a lot. Came out ono, especially when I dabbed on some of V's So Damn Ono Sauce.
Oh, while I'm at it, these mandoo from Costco are really good. But when Wendell went to get more a few days ago, didn't have.
He bought these instead. They were not bad. Very cilantro-y and tiny. Good to throw into your instant ramen.
I caught a cold. Coughed. Coughed. Coughed. I threw out my back. So I've been pretty much stuck at home since the weekend. Wanted to tell you about the Amazon Prime pizza deal at Whole Foods on Thursdays until the end of April. A whole cheese pizza for $8! Regular price is $14.
