I thought this was interesting. It documents a house being built using only traditional Japanese carpentry techniques. The precision is so amazing.
The translated description of the video says: We are pleased to present the full-length video ``Wood-framed house'' produced at the ``Wood-framed house disassembled'' exhibition. Building a hand-carved half-timbered house using traditional carpentry techniques. In today's world where a variety of new building materials are available, master carpenter Akinori Abo (Koki Mori) continues to stick to natural materials and handicrafts. What Mr. Abo thinks about and how he builds his house is described. This is a documentary film that follows the construction of a half-timbered house from design to completion.

Wow. I told myself that I would take a peek at the video and watch it later but it was so fascinating and special to see such skill and thought from start to finish, I couldn't stop watching. The only thing I didn't like was at the end - those interior stairs are too steep for me, but then, that is the Japanese standard and shikataganai, neh.
Amazing!

amazing
Japanese wood work and carpentry is amazing. We visited the Todai-ji temple in Nara in 2016 with the deers. The temple is an immense wood structure that uses no nails. As I recall, the structure is perfectly fitted together like a log cabin. Superb workmanship.
Aunty, I love listening to and watching Mr. Abo, the master carpenter. He inspires me. And yes, I don't do stairs well nowadays too.
Izsmom, I keep watching it.
Kat, I agree.
