ValPak Coupon

I got all excited when I pulled the ValPak envelope from our mailbox yesterday.  I quickly sliced that thing open, sat down and leafed through the coupons.

The coupon below is my sister's.  She lives in town.  Neva have in my envelope.  Shucks.

I'm curious.  Did you get one?

Hey J, I was thrilled to receive the coupon but it was only 10% off and not the free stuff which I prefer. But I went to Marukai anyway because I was already thinking of going. When I got there I realized I had followed the rail construction from Waipahu to town. Unlike Waipahu, they have allowed no spaces in the cones to make any turns into businesses. I was heading on Kam Highway towards town and there was no place to make a left. So I had to drive all the way to Dillingham make a turn and go up from the OCCC. And because there's only one lane the traffic is heavy. So I made a right before the gas station and then I went through to the back entrance. When I went there I realized why they're advertising so heavily, there is hardly anyone in the store. All the cashiers are bored. I've never seen it quite this empty. I think most people like in Waipahu are finding it difficult to access the store. So it's a trap to draw customers in. Lol. BTW they don't carry that spaghetti sauce either. My only reason to go there. :( -N

Aunty, awwww, thanks for the offer, but no. I was just excited to maybe win the free stuff.

Izsmom, shucks.

Kat, yah, LOL.

N, ooooh, that arrabbiata spaghetti sauce. I liked the one you gave me. I looked for it, but never found. I ended up getting a bottle of Rao's brand. Woulda been worth the trouble if Marukai had it.

J, this is the kind of stuff that sends my OCD into overdrive. I know that Marukai carried it because I initially bought it years ago when I used to drive into town. And briefly times Kunia carried it because I wasn't going into town. But Kunia times and Beretania Times carries different stuff. So I guess I got the last of it? Oh I really like that sauce too. In fact Marukai only carries three types of spaghetti sauce now. But they carry a lot of Japanese made spaghetti noodles. The sauce section is pathetic. I'm so frustrated -n

N, reminds me of the time I was trying to find this candy from Japan called Milfrutts. I even wrote to Kanro, the company who made it in Japan and they responded! They said that they were discontinuing it. I blogged about it. Several times. LOL.

I got mine for 10% off. Must be given to people who live in area. Just like fast food coupons in mid week.
