On Da Desk

I took my sewing machine outta da closet back in February and was determined to use up the choke fabric that I've accumulated.

I made a whole bunch of tote bags and now I'm sewing masks.  Even though (as stated by the doesn't-mind-his-own-business person at Costco) we "don't have to wear" them, I prefer to.

Awesome, Jalna. I still wear a mask! Covid is out there. I know of 2 people who have long Covid. No can smell no can taste and they are constantly fatigued.

Returned from Japan 2 week agos. The Japanese are SO about others, that almost everyone wears a mask, I loved it. Never have people getting into other people business about not having to wear masks. The people I observed not wearing mask were the American tourist, I rude, lol.

Annie, thanks! There's a YouTuber I watch called Physics Girl. Her videos are so interesting to me. 3 months ago she wrote this in her community tab:

6 months ago yesterday, I got COVID.
Today I can't shower standing up.
Can't do video calls.
Can't read books.
Can't drive.
But I'm still fighting to recover. 🥲

V, I'm glad.

Fay, ho!!!

Kat, thanks!

Izmom, I only went out to eat once since covid. It was for Sweetie's birthday and all da sisters went. I didn't want to be a party pooper. Luckily for me the place was pretty empty.

Aunty, thanks! I have lots.

Chet, LOL. Even before covid I liked how in Japan people wore masks. Hope you had a good trip!
