I found several YouTube videos on that paint powder that I found at the swap meet. Here's one. It's in Japanese, but I think I got it.
I ordered Gum Arabic to use as a binder. Can't wait to fuss around with it!

Did you notice you can get a "rough" English translation: Hit the flower icon (bottom right) and choose auto-translate, then English. Might help.
