Interesting! IF I should ever have left over crackers or kaki mochi, that is :)

I finally learned a few years back to put all of my dry food in my pantry in glass bottles. The reason why I decided to do it is because I had a bag of oats in my pantry. Somehow there were little bugs in it and they grew and spread into everything in my pantry.
I had to move everything out, spray bug spray and wipe down. Now with using glass I have no problem at all. I use the glass for Rice, Pinto Beans, 10 bean mix, etc.
Me too - I "hoard" glass bottles. Daiso has some neat ones. Ikea has some that are heavy and look like crack seed store bottles. I can only bring back one or two when I go there since it is a little crazy to bring that kind of stuff back from the mainland but it makes me happy. And what do I put in them? Li hing mui!
that is so good to know!
Really? Glass bottles? Not plastic? Hmmmmm.... interesting!
I hoard glass bottles too and started using them to store food. Plastic has too many issues unless it’s BPA free.
Welcome, Izsmom.
V, LOL, I know what you mean.
Mark, I hate those bugs.
Aunty, li hing mui!!
Kat, I know, yah!
Kay, now when I think about it, glass does seem impenetrable.
Susan, I agree.
j: wow this is good info! I thought plastic jars were okay but yeah glass makes more sense. Daiso here I come! -N
N, I know . . . LOL . . . makes sense, yah!
