Landon had heard about Beyond Burgers before, but we weren't able to find any . . . until recently. Lan's friend texted him last week and told him that Whole Foods had some, so one day after work I picked up a few.
Lan added vegan cheese and teriyaki sauce and turned it into a thing of beauty.

And it was delicious.

It's not cheap . . . on sale for $6.29 for two frozen patties. But it's very worth it.

Looks Ono! But, wow! So expensive!
Izsmom
wow I didn't realize it would be that expensive. You guys need to try the Impossible Burger now so you can compare. I wanna try tooooo!
tasted just like hamburger?! looks good.
I lucked out that it was on sale, Izsmom.
Hope they come here soon, Les!
Kat, to me it tasted just as good and maybe even better because it didn't have that "iron-y" taste . . . if you know what I mean.
Mine would not be as good because I am not a creative cook like your family. You so lucky! And getting healthier, too!
It looks like a work of art, that Landon created. After I spend $130/person on a Kobe steak dinner in Tokyo, the burger's a steal. It's all relative. The Kobe was excellent, melted in my mout.
Me too, Aunty. Mine would be a burger between two buns.
Hoo hoo, Chet!! YOLO!
That really sounds delicious!
Wow, how did he make it "rare" looking! Work of art alright 😊
I liked it a lot, Kay.
Maybe, it looks like that no matter what, Susan. LOL.
Me need Meat! No Pretend Meat! Got IT>?!!! ; )
Hahahaha, Mark.
