Haha! Me too, there's always something in bento boxes I won't like either.
That looks onolicious. I like that it's a little of everything. What was wrong with the namasu?
Izsmom
LOL, was that bittermelon?
LOL, Susan.
Izsmom, it was Bittah Melon.
Yup, Mich!
I LOVE bitter melon...
hahahah ewwwwww I wouldn't eat the bittermelon either!! blech.

Looks yum.My sister works for Foodland marketing Dept, was instrumental in the opening of Foodland Farms.Love their fresh poke
Ha ha ha, Bittah Melon!
The bento reminded me of the vegetarian one I got from Teruya Andagi on Pensacola across from Safeway (hint - parking is tough to find on the street so sometimes I park at Safeway). Except he doesn't put bittah melon and they are so nice over there - typical Okinawan, you know what I mean?
I didn't know that, Dd. Or did I know and forget? That's how it is nowadays.
Myko, I try to like it but usually fail.
Chet, that's what Wendell got!! The poke bowl.
Aunty, never heard of that place. I wanna try now.
HO da Fancy Bento boxes now! Every Ting has it's own little cubby now! ; )
I would never pay $7.49 for that. I would probably get a $1.00 menu item when out if I was hungry. I cook all of my good meals at home on da cheap! ; )
aw I would've traded you an okazu for your bittermelon:)
Everything here is so expensive, Mark.
Shucks, Kat. I threw it out. Nobody at my house likes bittermelon.
Hmmmmm.... That does look good.
