This has got to be the softest, most melt in da mouth donut I've ever eaten . . . even more so than Krispy Kreme! I had to force myself to not eat the whole thing. Thanks for the tip, Myko!
Me and Wendell were in Chinatown looking for fish this past Saturday, and Wendell said that since we were kinda in the area, he wanted to go looking for Mr. Donut's. I had mentioned to him earlier that Myko had recommended it and he was curious. It's on Hotel across from Long's and Ross.
Everything looked good, but we settled for just a few plain glazed donuts.
j: wow thanks for the tip...yeah, downtown parking is always a hassle. I park in the awful, dark, stinky one by the Chinatown open market. Usually I go late so there are stalls but if it was packed I don't think I could get out cuz the stalls are super small. Luckily the delicious Chinese manapua place is across the street, I love their bun it's so soft and fresh. I esp. love their black sugar which has a lotta filling is bigger than normal. Parking is super cheap (cuz I no can parallel park) -N
You know what I REALLY like, Aunty? Lee's Bakery custard pie. And we went and got a custard pie on that day too. I can't believe I forgot to take pictures for the blog.

Ohhhh...I think I put on 5 lbs. just looking at the pics. They look sooooo good.
Izsmom
Chet, I have to be more active to deserve it though.
Jenny, this place is hard for me to get to . . . not like Donut King which is RIGHT THERE every time I go to Ben Franklin.
N, you do good driving that big truck. I can barely maneuver my small car.
So baaaaad, Kat.
I know, Izsmom!!!! Me too!!!!!
Yum!!! And cheap, too! $1.25 for one glazed donut?!? Maybe I gotta go downtown. Maybe.

I had to scroll past these photos fast because.... Jalna. They made my mouth water so badly. Sigh...
I kinda had to do the same while I was there, Kay . . . just look really fast.
Glad you found it. I always make it a habit to pick-up a dozen (to bring back to the office) whenever I have a business meeting in Downtown.
I love a good donut! Why they so expensive though for something that disappears in less than a minute !
so...from da pics...looks like this place is making "pastries" using donut dough ....omgawwdd....
Ooooh, your coworkers so lucky, Myko.
LOL, Susan . . . you're right . . . gone so fast!
Dd, whatever they're using, it's sooooo goooood.
I definitely want to have some yummy doughnuts. Thanks Jalna for posting this.
Yay, Celia!
