Yesterday I brought this kale salad with me to work for lunch. At lunchtime, I went into CQ's office and asked to borrow her microwavable bowl. I gave her the salad.
And made myself a ramen instead.
A Nissin Raoh Tonkotsu Ramen to be exact. Marukai had it on sale for $1.47 the other week. You can also get it at Costco.
I love, love, love tonkotsu ramen. Ate it with flakes of fried garlic (a condiment at that little hole-in-the-wall restaurant in Kumamoto), and wish I could return to eat it again!

Jenny, the salad was one of those mixes from either Costco or Sam's. It's good!
Hoooo Lorna, fried garlic sounds so good.
Comfort food.....again YOLO!! ha....... can't deprive ourselves of the simple pleasures in life; but of course, within reason.
LOL, I love your philosophy, Chet!
Ey, the salad was good too! Not too much of a 'kale' eater but it was refreshing. Maybe was the cranberries and the dressing that made it.. cq
Sooo the noodles are ono? you are not weak. you just have good taste and know what you want!
Me too, CQ, not really into kale, but that salad is good. Glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks, Aunty! Yah, it's really ono.
That kale salad really does look delicious, Jalna. I'll bet your CQ loved it.
I like cooked kale better than raw. Put the kale in the ramen next time 😂

Not sure if I've ever had cooked kale, Susan.
