After going to the swap meet this past Saturday, we went to check out Didi's friend Nolan Miguel at Makalapa Elementary School on Salt Lake Boulevard. He and his family are there every Saturday morning working hard making their onolicious huli huli chicken, trying to earn extra money to put his son through college. So awesome yah!
Didi and Nolan worked together at John Dominis back in 1979, and have remained friends since.
The chicken is $4.50 for half chicken. They also sell musubis for 50 cents each.
It really is "Flippin' Ono".
Try go check um out next time you're in the area. You can give them a call first at 218-2647 to make sure they haven't sold out yet.
thanks for today

Jalna, you have a huli huli chicken recipe? That is sooo cheap. If I lived there that would be dinner couple times a week or more : )
musubis are unique too....they make it with sushi rice...oh, and they sell bottled water $1 !
Susan, come to think of it, I don't have a huli huli chicken recipe. I know what you mean . . . I'm thinking about dropping by again tomorrow.
