I found this flower on the ground by my car in the parking garage, a gift from the universe. I found it 2 days ago and it still looks good. It sits on my computer desk next to some of my rocks. In this picture, a quartz, a fluorite, and my flower, all naturally formed by nature. So amazing yeah!
It was night time when I took this shot so I had to up my ISO . . . 2,000 ISO!! I remember back in the days of film when 400 "ASA" was the most they had. And in those days we didn't have a film processor on the island so they had to send your film to the mainland to be developed and you would get your pictures back in a week. Now, you can order your pictures online and pick them up from Costco in an hour. I think that's so amazing.
Today you don't have to worry about accidentally exposing the film in your camera 'cause the digital images are stored on a compact flash or some other sort of memory saving device. The compact flash that I used to to store this image on got accidentally thrown in the wash awhile back . . . and it still works!!! Amaaaaazing!
Not so amazing, but I still wanted to share . . . my light source . . . desk lamp with napkin diffuser. Wait, I take that back . . . it IS amaaaaazing!! Hahahaha!!
thanks for today

Hahahaha . . . thanks Betty!
Cool flower, but the diffuser is great! Maybe it will work on your flash?
It was a used napkin too, Erick.
dass being creative! way to go! which reminds me: i no like, but i should look into buying a decent flash; i so frustrated shooting in low light indoors wit lousy results! den i gatta go home depoh fo make my own whachyamacallit! u know: like da one you and erick and celia get.
Rand, you still take nice pikchas even though you don't have a good flash.
