terrific pictures as usual; sharp as a bell (bells are sharp???); jalna, if you haven't made a photo book yet, please make one! it would be fannnntastic! i've made several using a couple of different companies but i like www.blurb.com the best. you can make a photo book with 200 pages (full bleed, front and back, 10 x 8, hard cover, image wrap, for about $61!!! for that price, a lot of places will only let you print 20 pages! once you see how awesome your pictures look printed, you'll NEVER be the same! and if you don't like it, i'll buy the book from you! if i do one thing right in my lifetime, you must try printing a photo book!
Rand, I am sooooo undeserving of your praise. Recently, Brandee at work asked me to put my 20 best pictures on a CD for her. I could barely come up with 10 good ones. Thanks for the tip though. I'll look into it. Maybe I can make a family photo album.
jalna, i know humility is a virtue but you're out of your MIND if u struggled to choose 10 best pictures! you've got tons and i've only scratched the surface of all the pictures you've taken. take a look at the website blurb.com and you'll get some ideas as well as see sample pages from books available for sale from other photographers. keep in mind that a photo book can be anything u want it to be: a photo book, a recipe book, a blog, an illustrated novel, etc. in my case, the photo books are for ME and i don't care what others think of it; actually, they're either photo books of my daughter or trips abroad (e.g., japan). if we ever get together for coffee, i'll bring a few to show you what you could create and your pictures are only about 99,000x better than mine!!!
All I can say is oweeeeee!!! Damn Mattie! Now my face is all bus' up! I couldn't stop cracking up when I was going through all the pictures today. Post processing was a breeze cause there wasn't much decent ones to fix!
Thanks Jalna, it was fun! Hey doesn't Mick looked all pissed off and irritated in the last pic? She must be thinking..."will you please hurry up and take this ridiculous headband off my head?!?!"
Hey, a photo album is a good idea. My daughter has made several using her Creative Memories (scrapbook) software. Love this photos of Les and Randy and the dogs. Great job!! :))
Thanks Rand, you are like my no. 1 fan. I wonder how much trouble it would be to put my blog material into a book. That would be so neat!
Les, I was cracking up taking the pictures!! And yes, Mick's grumpy look is just hilarious to me.
Thanks Betty!
I know how hard it is to take family pictures with doggies. I have one. They don't listen!!! I enjoyed looking at these pictures so much. Made my day!
Hiromi, it was funny watching Leslie and Randy trying to get the dogs to listen, and they had to smile for the camera at the same time. Also, I learned something today . . . if you make a high-pitched sound the dogs will look at you. It was a great discovery!
the photos are great! loved looking at the bloopers :)
I love the third photo, unsharp background.. totally good shots :)
oh yah!! I forgot! Jalna is now the dog whisperer!! hahahahaaa!
Thanks Kat! I love doing bloopers now . . . fun.
