My sister Didi got these gobo chips as part of a birthday present and she shared them with us. She said they can be found at Marukai. She called Shirokiya and Don Quijote to see if they might also carry them, but they don't. I liked it.It has a really nice flavor and crunch.
Didi also shared this Green Tea Kit Kat. At first it tasted like ice cream to me, but then it left a funny after taste. A friend of hers brought it back from Japan. I don't think you can find it here.
even tho i lived in japan for 9 yrs, i never got into the green tea taste; too bad; supposed to be healthy stuff; but give me a pile of chocolate kit kats and all you'll find later are empty wrappers! thanks for the pics and info ;-)
Gobo chips? Interesting...I gotta try it one day. I like the green tea kitkats. Kathy always brings me back some when she goes to Japan. They also got sakura flavor too. That one is good also. Maybe we should go to japan instead of Mongolia. They probably got better food there :P
I grew up with green tea and I love it! I just got green tee cookies from my friend who just came back from Japan. I've seen green tea caramel, puffs, chocolate, cakes, bread, noodles...I guess Japanese simply loves it! I had green tea Kit kat before and that was one of my favorite. It's not cheap though.
hmmm didn't try the green tea kit kat, the wife ate it all. a friend just came back and brought back all sorts of flavors of kit kats only problem i couldn't read it so it was more like eating kit kat (cracker jack style) and wondering what surprise taste we'd get.

The chips look interesting. I don't know about the green tea kit kat though. I don't like green tea ice cream, however love drinking green tea.
Yeah Kat, at first it was yummmm, but a little while later. . . blech.
Rand, you lived in Japan for 9 years! Lucky!
Les, I keep thinking about all that dust in the desert and how I freaked out at the fine sand at Kailua beach getting on my camera.
Betty, the chips were really good!
perfect! Japan isn't dusty like that, and neither is New Zealand!!!
