Nyree Oshiro is a good friend of my coworker, Rosalyn. Ny has Crohn's disease, and tonight she held a fundraiser to benefit the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America. Everyone there had a blast.
At the time that I took this picture I didn't realize that these guys weren't even part of our group. Yet, they obliged and posed for me. So funny, yeah!
OMG, Aiea Bowl....I hope you had some of their lemon crunch cake !! I did a show with the chef from there and it was my largest show ever with a local chef....but....chef did not give out the recipe for this cake (first time ever I had a chef not share his recipes)

Oh my God, Susie . . . I tried all different kinds of ways to shoot . . . no flash/high ISO, with flash/diffuser, no diffuser, bounced off ceiling, angled . . . Depending on where the subject was I got different results. Very, very good learning experience.

Very nice, you got great shots in a very dark setting. You also captured true emotion from everyone. Great shooting!

Those three guys were funny! Looks like everyone had a great time. Our grandkids love to bowl, even the little ones.
Erick, it was very challenging. I'm still not sure what's the best way to shoot in a bowling alley.
Didi, I did remember to buy a slice to bring home for Wendell. It was 6 bucks!!
Betty, after I took the shot I asked them how they knew Ny, and they went, "Who?"
