I went there on Thursday at around 10:15 a.m., and there was still a good supply of musubi left, but the sides were pretty much all gone.
As soon as I got into the car I busted open a tuna/mayo, my favorite. I really enjoyed it, but to be honest, it coulda used a tad more salt. Still, I'm so happy that they're open again.

Manabu is pretty good. What Kat says about Iyasume, that they fill the whole musubi with the ume or konbu, whatever they put inside, is still tops. There's a musubi place, Maona, by my office and theirs are pretty good too. Gotz Grindz in Kaneohe has really interesting fillings but they don't press it hard enough and the whole thing falls apart as soon as you take a bite. But, RICE RULES!!! v
I'm not a early riser, so usally not much of a selection is left when I get there. but I'll take what's left. Parking can be an issue sometimes.I love their product.
V, I love Iyasume's salmon/konbu. Whenever I go to Ross Kahala, I make sure to go downstairs for one. I loved the Maona musubi you bought for me and Sweetie when we were on our way to Japan. That was so nice and thoughtful of you!! And I hate to agree but I agree . . . RICE RULES!!!
Susan, I think the tuna/mayo was $1.70.
Izsmom, yay.
Aunty, the rice was good to me. I never heard of Gaba Musubi.
Chet, I know what you mean about the parking. I'm horrible in tight places. If the lot looks even a little bit crowded, I park on the street even if I gotta pay.

Looks good! How much is it? I can’t see the price.
Yay! Thanks for the info. Will definitely go back.

How's the rice? The last time I had it (last year) the rice was a tad bit too mushy. But just a tad.
One of these days, try Gaba Musubi in Eaton Square. Chodo, imo. But they don't always have enough selection.
