I bought kulolo from Yama's Fish Market yesterday. It was so ono that all that was left this morning was this piece.
So I went back today. I was hoping that they hadn't sold out. I found out that they don't bring it in from Kauai anymore, and for the past couple years have been making their own.
Hoo hoo!! They make a fresh batch every Thursday and Friday. And once in awhile even on Saturdays.

Kat, so yummy!

Kulolo! Good but I wait for gau - which is going to be plentiful because of Chinese New Year soon. So ono and so unhealthy. But so satisfying.
Aunty, I love gau too!!
Never heard of this but looks yummy!
I shall have to tell Art. He does like kulolo. I never really had it as a kid, but he sure did on the Big Island. Wait, is kulolo the same as gau?
i like gau too...better than kulolo :)
Susan, awww too bad you don't have it there.
Kay, they look similar but are totally different.
Les, I like them both but if I had to choose it would be KULOLO!!!
