I finally got to go to Daiso today. Wendell had an appointment at Queen's POB, and because I badly need to get in some exercise I decided to catch a ride with him to the doctor's office and then walk to Daiso from there. It was a mile walk. It took 17 minutes and around 2,300 steps . . . actually not that many steps but better than nothing yah.
Chet, I did sweat a bit, but I need to do more of that.
Kay, I was happy to see that they had some of my favorite Daiso items!
Kat, killed two birds.
Mich, it was bigger than I expected and just as good as ones in Japan.
Izsmom, I got there at around 9:30 and there were around 3 or 4 open spaces. When I left about 1/2 hour later the lot was full. I think if you get there when they open at 9:00 it should be okay, especially if you go on a weekday.
j: I've controlled my shopping to Daiso when I went to the new location off Piikoi - I actually got the few things I really needed, not want, though they did have mannequin heads there too! I like their paper towels, the ones in the pkg and I use that preferably since they're cheaper than Brawny. Like small spills and cleanup even if they are flimsy and I can keep them all over the house, important since I have dogs messier than me. -N

We have a small store that sells Japanese products. Reminds me of Daiso.
Thanks for the tip. Will try to get there during that time.
