KUM Pencil Sharpener

My drawing pencils and colored pencils need sharpening all the time, and I found that the sharpener that worked best for me was a KUM brand one. It was only $1 something at Fisher, but what I found slightly inconvenient was that I had to be by a trash can when using it.

On a return trip (I go often) to Fisher I found this one. It was only $2 something so I got it.

It's made in Germany and is a joy to use.

Good to know, not that I draw, but funny I like using pencils now and then to write, especially No. 1s.

I like finding stuff that’s well made! I have a knife made in Germany...it’s the only knife I like to use.

Chet, I looooove Fisher. But the Kakaako one . . . so much homeless nearby. They scare me.

Kat, I like the color I picked. LOL.

Izsmom, I'm liking them more and more as an art tool.

Susan, I have a few favorite German scissors.

Totally, Mark!

Hard to beat German engineering and products. Or Swiss. That is why I now buy Hansgrohe faucets (like your bathroom one) and other German products if I have a choice. Made in China is cheap, but you get what you pay for.

Cool, I think I have that one too. No need worry about shavings.
