The Aim of Art
Thank you for all of your positive comments regarding the sharing of my artwork. I feel less hesitant about sharing now (and possibly boring you) and really do hope that it'll inspire you to try your hand at creating something yourself.
I got some washi tape years and years ago in Japan that I never used. I'm so happy that I'm finally making use of them in my art journal book.
This tape surprised me. After I tore off the cellophane covering, I found that the tape was cloth-like and stretchy and kinda see-through . . . so cool.

So, me copying someone's art has no real significance for me...I'm just a copy cat, lol.
Oops, sent that comment to quick...your washi tape is really different. I bought some washi tape in Japan too, several years ago. I need to find it and see what kind I bought.
Me too, Susan! But it's all part of the learning process, no? I have quite a bit of tape and am happy that so far they're still usable.
In Japan, you can probably find art supplies 4 cheap at the Dollar Stores. Your cursive is artwork .
Gorgeous! I love the quote too.
j: I learn much from your blog, found out washi tape is an in-thing now and there are many uses on youtube. One local gal sells cute Japanese motifs on Etsy. Keep on artin' girl -N
love your creativity, I’m glad the tape still sticks too :)
I love washi tape, I just wish I had a use for it!! I'm glad you're using your stash...at least it's not going to waste :)
Neat the washi tape! I love that you share your artwork and crafts.

PS~I heard the 7-11 that replaced the Menehune Mart in Lawai Kauai bought the recipe for the manju. So you can try the onolicious manju that Lawai Is known for, next time you're on Kauai.
Thanks Chet! Will check it out next time I'm there!
So wise yah that Aristotle, Kay. LOL.
Ooooh, N, never did check out washi on YouTube. Thanks!
Thanks Kat. I'm glad too . . . or so lose money.
Les, I thought I'd use it in greeting cards, but somehow never did.
