I wanted a messy background for this page of my journal, so I dug out scraps of paper from the trash, tore them up and glued them on. Then I painted and splattered with acrylic paint.
The white part of the page seemed like a good place for something bright so I thought of a red kite.
It took me forever to draw the girl. Draw, erase, draw, erase. Hopefully, I'll get better at it the more I practice.

Thanks Chet . . . so much to learn . . .
Thanks Izsmom. I first drew a red balloon, but it looked kinda weird so I changed to a kite.
Thanks Aunty!
Thank you Kat.
N, a lot of times I think that there's no way I can do what I have in mind . . . like that girl. Facing her at that angle was daunting to me . . . her ponytails, her face, her arms . . . I had no clue how to position them. For real, took me long time. That tiny bit of face was the hardest of all. But now, when I look at her, I can't believe I did it.
Thank you, Myko!!!
