Kona had surgery to remove a growth on his butt on Thursday. I was worried because he had to be put under, but he took the anesthesia well and came out of it okay.
His appetite is still poor. But main thing . . . he did eat his antibiotic and pain killer that I hid in pieces of Costco chicken.
Hopefully, he'll be good as new soon.

j: I hate one of my 'babies' get sick, I feel so bad for them as I can't explain why or how or anything. Even getting them fixed, a necessary evil, I was so sad. Dylan when he's hurting, he'll come by me and slam his body into me as if saying "fix this, mom". When he was suffering bad gas and he was farting all over the place, he was so scared of his farts. He kept looking quizzically at his butt. Then as more noise kept coming out, he'd run over to me as in 'save me from this awful noise coming outta my rear end". That was hilarious I gotta admit. Thank goodness he never had that again. Kona Get Well Soon, poor doglet. -N
Hope konas feeling better...try "0rejin" dehydrated dog snacks to help his appetite. Easy on the digestion too for an older doggie.My dog loves it!
