Wendell had a colonoscopy a few days ago. His appointment was at 9:00 a.m., check in at 8:00. We pulled up to the entrance of the building at Kuakini at around 7:30 a.m. Wendell: You can just drop me off. Me: No, I wanna go inside with you. Wendell: Hah? Me: Yuh, we're too early. Marukai doesn't open until 8:00. Wendell: Ohhhhh, no wonda. I thought you were being nice. HAPPY MUDDAH'S DAY to you Muddahs!!
Yep, Happy Muddah's Day to you and all other muddahs! Nice - you. Me, I don't get those colonoscopies. I did a fecal test instead - just put little bit doodoo on a strip and mail in. Supah easy and no need see anybody or have anybody see me naked.
j: funny as always. Gawd I hate my 'scopy, I was starving not being to eat. It was pure torture for me. I'm glad I don't have to do it until a few more years. Billy V's story motivated me to get the 'scopy. I was so hungry when my 'minder' who was suppose to stay with me until I got my ride was momentarily distracted, I fled and went into the next door L&L for food. She found me and I think she got in trouble cuz she refused to leave my side after that. Too bad, I was starving and no one comes between me and food in that state. No one. My first 'scopy (late 70s) was before the no food policy and it was without any anesthesia. I 'member the nurse telling me 'at this point most of the people are screaming'. I was thinking I can scream?? But by then too late it was pau. No cameras and high tech either. Just the doc eyeballing everything. -N
Hahaha! You are kolohe, even though I haven't met you, I know you are a kind person and you just wanted to make sure your hubby got checked in okay. Hope you have a wonderful Mother's Day!

You don't, Aunty? That's good to know. I had a CT colonography about 10 years ago, and since then my doctor just requires a doodoo thing annually.
Wow, N, you had one when you were still young! Dunno if I would scream too. I might be too shame.
