OMG his method is complicated too. Will Smith's big ears with the crap film. That's the same method ppl say to use to remember ppl's names associate ridiculous images and sounds. My mom tells me that after being here for so long, she has lost a lot of her kanji reading ability. The cool part is that if one can read Japanese one can also read a bit of Chinese since they use the same charaters. She always said the Chinese must be super smart to be able to remember so much more characters than the Japanese uses. Me, I will stick to being able to read 'onna' and 'otoko' as those are the main characters I need to know and will remain illerate. Good for you Jalna for attempting this.
Oh my word! He is brilliant! I don't think I know 2000 kanjis. I'm so glad I have spellchecker. I like 'imiwa?' which search kanji and meaning on smartphone.
Go for it! I did this method (Heisig) and was able to learn 500 kanji in a month. I got up to 1,700. Here's a website to help you review this method (kanji.koohii.com) But as you progress, you spend so much time reviewing that the learning pace crawls to a halt. Plus, I was leaving Japan and returning to Hawaii so... But I have to say, it works! Don't forget to learn this kanji (amezaiku). Hope to see you around someday. -CAH

K, I watched the entire video and I still don't know Japanese.
Wait, wait Anon. I gonna put my method on my blog soon. Trying to figure out how to make it interesting.
I know Erick. I keep saying to myself, "Why so hard?"
