Sorry people. I'm behind in post-processing my Japan pictures. I should be posting more photos for you soon though. In the meantime I wanted to share with you the Google Map shot that inspired me to go look for those stones across the Kamo River.
Like my friend Linda said, "It's amazing that you can see something on a map an ocean away, get inspired, and actually find it." I so agree!

there is a place called "o-usu-no-sato" that I like, not sure if this is the same place you went to. their ume products are so ono!

so cool to experience a true autumn. Love the changing color leaves. For a country known for electronics, I'm surprised to see a boat ride powered by man.
Shun Wah, it was so interesting throughout the trip to notice how some things were so modern and space-aged and yet how a lot of old-fashioned ways still endured.
