Kaimana's First Birthday Party
Kaimana is my cousin Brenda's grandson. He celebrated his first birthday a couple of weeks ago at Hale Ikena in Fort Shafter. Everybody had a blast. Sunday brunch buffet, face painting and Balloon Monsoon twisters - can't go wrong! My only regret is that I didn't save room for the birthday cake. I heard it was really good.

so cute that birthday cake...was it homemade? Looked like a fun party!
Moku, Kaimana's dad, mentioned something about going beforehand to taste test the cake so I think it probably was made by a specialty kine place.
