Hurricane Ridge and Port Angeles

We decided to visit Hurricane Ridge a day ahead of schedule and good thing 'cause the next day, a storm came and the road was closed. The view going up was spectacular with choke trees below. No matter how I tried though, I just couldn't capture the vastness for you. Maybe I needed a wider lens.

We decided to check out Port Angeles town, but our visit there was cut short by the rain.

With the rains pretty much ruining our plans, me and Les decided to head out to Seattle a day early. Here we are at a drawbridge waiting for a couple of boats to pass.

Rand, over 50 times!!! Wow! I'm not a good traveler . . . rarely go places. I get homesick REAL fast.

When I went in '92, we ate at a restaurant - sort of like Black Angus - in Port Angeles. I was on holiday from law school and homesick and the restaurant served mac salad with peas and carrots, the way my mom made it. It was soooo good! :D
