Hidden right in the middle of Manoa Valley is Koganji Temple. Wet leaves hinted of rain, but it remained dry the whole time we were there. Again, night-time photography is a challenge for me, but I love it. The Ryusei Taiko drummers were a special treat. The corn was excellent, of course, and the shave ice was good. I would have loved to have had some andagi, but the line was just too long. Thanks for the treat, Erick.
The picture of the little girl over-looking the bon dance is priceless. I went to that temple as a kid all dressed up in kimono. That could've been me. Brings back feelings I had forgotten. Wonder--full!
