Merry Christmas!!

Is it only me or did the past year just whiz by? It went so fast and . . . I'm still here blogging. 

10 years of blogging. Crazy. 

I think I'm gonna cool my jets from next year and not post as often, but I've said that before, so we'll see, yah.

At any rate, this is my last post for 2018. I'll be taking a break. But I WILL see you again in 2019.

Wedding Card

This was kinda easy and fun to do.  The hard part was doing the words.

Daiso Pearl City

My friend, N, went to Daiso and sent me these photos!!  I'd been wanting to see what the inside looks like. Thanks, N!!

Here's what she said:

Went to Daiso this afternoon about 3 pm-ish, short line in but to check out huge lines. It's a small store and certain sections were emptied out.  Everything is $1.50 and some things higher. It's just regular dollar store stuff that Don Q and Marukai have had. I think great for a college student cuz they can stock everything cheaply. Daiso had tons of Croc like shoes that I guess no one wants to buy and a small garden section.  I think I waited 15 minutes in line.

I finally cleaned out our container drawer(s) and matched up the tops and bottoms. These are gonna get trashed because they didn't have their matching half.

I joined my former coworkers today for a potluck lunch at my old working place.

I've been retired for over a year now, but look what I saw hanging on the wall.  So "Awwwww" yah!

Kakaako Boom

I took this photo last month. The crane that's lifting stuff was so huge that it blocked off most of Ward Avenue.  This is across from where Sports Authority used to be. 

Kakaako's changing so much that there are a lot of places that "used to be".

Kinda sad, but it seems that I've been needing more sympathy cards lately than other types of cards.
