So happy! Amazing how empty the dog park is. Every time I pass it on the way home from Costco it is full of dogs and people. You must go early or something.

We had a bad experience at the park on a crowded holiday where two aggressive dogs charged at Kai. Since then we only go when it's fairly empty, either early morning or mid afternoon.
That park is well stocked with water bowls. Every morning, no matter how early I go, the bowls are rinsed and water jugs filled, all nicely placed by a water faucet.
nice that both you and kai can enjoy the park without having to worry about others
It's been a learning curve to figure out when it's a good time to go and which particular dogs (and owners) to avoid.
