I've been digging through my old CDs to see if I can find music to use in videos. This Kalapana CD used to be my favorite. I'm so happy that I still have it.
I made a video so that I could share some of the songs. It's called "Making a Watercolor Palette". It's a bit boring, but hopefully the music will make up for it. I was able to use five songs.
I'm also working on a second video to include more of the songs. Stay tuned!

I love that album! I remember going to their first concert at Waikiki Shell! It was dad best concert ever!

Izsmom, I know!!! Made me small-kine sad listening to the music at first though. Dunno why. Maybe made me miss how it was back then.
I agree. It makes me miss how simple and carefree life was back then and also how sad that two of the original group (Mackey Feary and Malani Bilyeu) have passed.

Izsmom, yah, that's it.
Very organized paint colors! I saw some of the guys of Kalapana in the 80s when they did a concert here. I was working at the hotel they stayed in. Love their music!
