When Roger comes to my parents' house for dinner, I make him aburage stuffed with mochi and tied with kampyo. I cook this in a dashi made with vegetable broth, shoyu and mirin until the mochi becomes soft. We all love it!
THe next time you're there try their prepared foods...in that salad bar looking section. Their food is REALLY good. Randy goes over there when he's working at Pali Momi for lunch. Everything I tried so far I liked! My mom ended up buying him a gift card from there for his birthday...
My favorite is in their fresh food/deli section, I forget what it's called but it looks like little nori rectangles. Inside is a mock tuna salad-ish thing and it tastes GREAT. I think it might be weird at first but oh boy, are they good and addicting. Wish I could make it myself.

Les, we did try some recently. I think my favorite so far is the breakfast burrito. Even their vegan version is ono to me.

Yuppie Store! I saw these all over the Pacific Northwest on my Summer road trip. Seems to be the new Rage!
Jenny, I gotta go look for that next time I'm there.
Mark, must be people like me are becoming more aware of how unhealthy processed food is.
I really admire your drive to be healthier! I'm there with you!😊
Awwww . . . thanks, Susan!
So much choices. I would have a hard time choosing.
Dean, there's a section by the hot foods that got pizza and baked goods too!
Morning Star and Gardein products are way cheaper at Target. I love AMY'S MEATLOAF
