I thought this was interesting. I haven't been able to use either method yet, but I've always had vivid dreams anyway and don't really have trouble sleeping.
j: I too have vivid dreams, I get a recurring one where I can't find my car in a parking garage and another where I am in a hotel elevator but it only stops at certain floors and not the one I want. All stressed related dreams. When I get one of those I realize I'm stressing somehow over something. I tried lucid dreaming until one gal told me that she use to but one time when she woke she was frozen and couldn't move for a while but her brain was going so I stopped. Your method seems cool though - N
Kay, I wore my Fitbit to sleep for a little while, but I tend to not like tight things on me so I stopped. Even those arthritis compression gloves didn't help because I would take them off in my sleep. I would wake up in the morning and have to look for them.
Not old Chet, you're just a good sleeper I think.
N! I always have hotel elevator dreams. Usually I can't get on because they're too full. I don't get parking garage ones. I get plenty dodo dreams . . . so gross.
Aunty, it's hard because you have to realize that you're dreaming first.
Interesting comments! I'd rather not be aware while dreaming and sleeping. I do know that I hate dreams when I'm about to eat something really yummy and I wake up or the dream stops! Weird and frustrating! I probably need to quit looking at recipes online or watching these food shows on Netflix, haha! (Your blog doesn't count😂)

Really? I've not been getting much deep sleep according to my Fitbit.
Interesting. For the most part, I'm a good sleeper. I have dreams, problem is I can't remember them after; guess getting old.

Interesting! I wonder how to direct my thoughts if I am in my dreaming state - what IS my dreaming state? Ommmmmmm.
