We had a gift card for MW Restaurant so we came for a little holiday
dinner. What a nice treat! We enjoyed ourselves very much and the food was
ono! Liliko...

hahahhahahaa that salad is so funny. Looks like mines.
Les, I totally gotta go back to eating salads . . . ack!
Hey, I just ate karaage chicken too...with rice...forget the salad, better with rice! LOL your salad, deprived.
Hahahaha, Susan, "deprived" salad . . . funny.
love karaage :)
oh j: one time there was a great drive inn and I ate at least twice a week their fried chicken and shrimp plate. Oh that stuck was sooooo good!** In two weeks time, my pants couldn't button. ack. I totally stopped...and in your case you worked so hard to lose your weight and how miserable you were! Don't deprive yourself but maybe cut down on the fried and fatty stuff to once to twice a week might be a better option. Don't live a life of deprivation and starving, then binging cuz that's how the pounds creep up. Instead eat a good lunch not just salad, salad, salad either. -N (** that was Best Drive Inn near Sand Island and think they're in McCully now) (PSS yeah, my veggies in the refrig end up looking like your salad too :( )
That chicken looks so good! Do you have any kind of recipe to re-create that? What kind of seasoning do you suppose is in it? Thanks.
I have never heard of this before so I had to look it up. I do agree that Chicken Thighs have the best taste, I'm a recent convert from legs! ; ) Although I am a Leg man! ; )
This good cook is adorable!

Now I do too, Kat.
I will follow your advice, N. The pounds are definitely creeping back.
Julie, Wendell did make karaage chicken before, but the outside wasn't crunchy like J-shop's. I blogged about it here: http://jalna.blogspot.com/2011/02/karaage-chicken.html
Thanks for the video, Mark!
Did the Karaage Chicken come with sauce? Is it way better than other places?
Chicken must be good! I'll try it one day. You funny with the 'saving it for tomorrow' hahaha!!!
It didn't come with a sauce, Mmiissee. Wendell and Landon weren't impressed with my leftovers, but this was hours after I bought it. Eating it just made when the coating is still crunchy . . . it IS the best to me.
Chicken looks so ono, salad not so much.
You should try, Erick.
