Been trying to blog since yesterday. Mostly hindered by weak wifi. We arrived at our hotel at 3 pm, did some shopping around the hotel before our buffet dinner and then quickly caught a cab to Sunshine City.
Here are a few pictures from our first day. In no particular order cause I dunno how to fix it, tsum tsum from the Disney store in Sunshine City in Ikebukuro, snacks to bring home and eat from Lawson's and 7 Eleven, our ripoff breakfast from the Honolulu International Airport which cost $35, and the free slippers we got from JAL.
Sweetie made me and an airport attendant crack up when we were rushing to meet up with our tour group while rolling our luggage. Her luggage tipped over and fell and she was moving so fast she had to jump over it to keep from falling herself. Was funny.
We're off to Niigata today. Supposed to have good sake and arare and dango!

J: you had me at dango. Looking forward to your adventures! -N
I am soooo jealous! If you're in Niigata, might as well catch the ferry to Sado for a day trip. That's what I'm thinking of doing when we go in October, anyway. Have a wonderful trip, Jalna.
$35 Bucks! My God! I would have brought a peanut butter and honey sandwich, with butter on da bread too! Just like Mom used to make for all of my elementary school days lunches! And Mom always included a fruit and a Snickers bar! .....YES! ; )
Have Fun Jalna!

Wish I bought more
Me and Sweetie bought one each, Anon. It's so bulky and heavy hard to bring back more.
I'm so glad you made there OK. I love going to combini store....even though I don't need anything...then buy lots of snacks.
Me too, Akemi. I love the combini!
