Somebody Else's Filthy Oven

Okay, okay . . . I admit it . . . it's my oven.  Don't scold me.

Since I had extra time on my hands, I decided to try and tackle the oven window.  I do believe it does come in handy when you can actually see through it.

I went online and found out that a baking soda paste would work. You just add water to some baking soda and them smear on the paste like this.

I left it on for a couple of hours and then used a paper towel to kinda scrub it off.

It worked!

J: those energy bars are the best I ever tasted. I was hesitant cuz I thought I didn't care for them, but yours is outta the world. How long will they keep lil dat? Thank you, thank you.

BTW I went to J-store. I was the only one there. The meat box was nearly empty only 3 pcs of steak and 3 prime ribs ($500+ and 2 @ $800+)

They were all brown looking. No fresh fruit and only veggies were mushrooms. Fish was some sliced sashimi trays and fish heads and frozen unagi.

I think the newness has worn off? When I left a family went in. Tons of parking. I wouldn't be surprised if they eventully close.

Thanx again -N

Les, sorry. Busy playing golf.

So glad you liked um, N. I think they keep for awhile. I make so many that I put um in the 'fridge, though they taste best after they've been left out for awhile. Thanks for the info on J-store. I better go again before they close. I didn't think they could last long with those prices.

Glad you're enjoying your retirement, Erick!!!

That's like amazing. We have a toaster oven at work that no one cleans. I wonder if the wire rack would get clean soaking in this....

jalna said...

I was amazed too, Jenny.
